When dawn has stolen the morning star,
and clouds cover the shining sun.
White horses break the ocean's calm.
Your wings are broken, they cannot fly,
because the door of love is closed.
Don't hide your heart it's not the end,
it's just a bend within the road.
You feel you travel this path alone,
your shoes are worn, no shade in sight.
You feel there's no one here to hold you hand
Where is the end you long to know.
And who will mend the broken pieces,
Now that your joy no longer lives?
But lift you eyes and try to see,
the night is long but day will come!
